What is Prisma Access?
Prisma Access is Palo Alto Networks' cloud-delivered security service edge (SSE) and the security core of its Prisma SASE offering. It provides zero trust network access, secure web gateway, cloud access security broker and firewall-as-a-service for remote users and branches. Traffic is inspected using the same threat prevention services as the company's next-generation firewalls. It is used by mid-sized and large enterprises replacing VPNs and on-premises proxies.
