What is Redis?
Redis is an in-memory data structure store with sub-millisecond latency, widely used for caching, session management, queues and real-time analytics. Redis Cloud offers a managed service with features such as active-active geo-distribution and vector search. Following the 2024 license change, an AGPL option was added back with Redis 8. A free cloud tier is available.
